PURPOSE:

Matcha green tea powder may form lumps or clumps. The purpose of the Doctor King® matcha sifter is to remove any lumps or clumps. This will produce a smoother matcha tea and avoid bitterness caused by clumps of matcha. Sifting matcha prior to whisking is recommended by many tea masters.
